Aniel Cabán has been an active performer in the Denver area since 2003. He is the principal violist of the Boulder Chamber Orchestra and a member of the Boulder Philharmonic and

Greeley Philharmonic Orchestras.

He regularly performs with Boulder Bach Festival, Colorado Ballet Orchestra, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, the Colorado Bach Ensemble, Sphere Ensemble, Colorado Music Festival, and the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. He has also

performed with a wide array of artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Pink Martini, Hugh Jackman, Trampled by Turtles, Clay Aiken, Jónsi of Sigur Rós, and Olivia Newton-John.

Aniel holds a Bachelor of Music degree from The Cleveland Institute of Music and a Master of Music degree from the

University of Colorado at Boulder. When he’s not playing his viola he enjoys going on hikes and exploring his Capitol Hill/Cheesman Park neighborhood.
