Clea Huston

Mezzo-soprano Clea Huston has a unique and powerful voice, “with formidable virtuosity over a wide range” (The Boston Globe). She was a recipient of the Alberta Heritage of Arts Scholarship (prestigious career grant), and in recent seasons has performed as soloist with Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Grand Junction Symphony, Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra, Cheyenne Symphony, Aurora Symphony, Pueblo Symphony Orchestra, Colorado MahlerFest, Boston Cecilia, Lyric Opera Cleveland, and the Boulder Bach Festival.
Mrs. Huston has her Doctorate in Opera and Vocal Pedagogy from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and completed her Master of Music at the New England Conservatory of Music.
Clea Huston appears several times on Boulder Bach Festival concert events this season as BBF’s 2016-17 Artist-in-Residence.
